Process

A TIME-TESTED METHOD TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT.

Our process begins long before the first contact with the client.

Through more than 15 years in business, we've generated a lengthy list of contacts and have well-established resources for all aspects of building and remodeling. From local lumber yards and kitchen design centers to specialty tile and hardware retailers we have access to just about any type of building, finish and energy efficient product on the market. These resources are important because it allows us to have the right solution at our fingertips for whatever the project calls for.

A WELL ESTABLISHED PROCESS FOR
ALL ASPECTS OF BUILDING & REMODELING.

1 BRAINSTORMING

Our process for taking on a project and producing results is not unlike building a home. We first form a foundation through sharing ideas, needs, wants, priorities and budget to create the structural base we plan to build on. This also generates transparent communication between us and the client for each aspect, allowing us to fully understand the scope of work.

2 DESIGN & PLAN

Combining the ideas put forth in the initial consultation (step one), with our long list of contacts we are able to move on to working with the client and design professional to create the first sketches. Here we work closely to ensure your ideas are captured in the forefront before any final designs are approved. As well, during this phase we create the estimated budget and schedule, including all aspects that were incorporated in the plans. This also includes material selection, styles, colors, appliances, features, custom carpentry, layout, flooring, windows and more.

3 BUILDING BEGINS

By this point we have now established a budget, design, schedule and plan. We now establish the way forward to bring this into execution, and we can begin to carry out the project itself. During this time, we ensure that your daily life will be disrupted as little as possible. We always work in a professional, friendly manner, on time for work and polite and clean within your home.

4 PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Step four runs concurrently with step three. By this point we have now established a budget, design, schedule and plan. We now establish the way forward to bring this into execution. This includes agreeing on a regular meeting time each week once the project begins. During this time we are able to walk through the progress and address any questions, concerns, additions or changes that have presented themselves or been requested.

Additionally, scheduled emails are sent through the week to update the client on day-to-day progress. This is important because we want the client to feel that they are directly part of the project. While boundaries may need to be set or changed, such as access areas for safety reasons, we can achieve this without making the client feel uninvited and unwelcome in the process.

5 QUALITY CONTROL & CLEANUP

Following successful completion of the project, we'll walk with you throughout the home to see the final results. At this time we can ensure that everything is carried out as we planned and each detail adheres to your liking. Here we also cleanup all elements that our team brought into the house, such as tools, debris and construction materials. Backed by our three year comprehensive warranty, we are here for you if you have any questions or concerns in the future.
