Our process for taking on a project and producing it is not unlike building a home. We build a foundation of idea sharing, needs, wants, priorities, and budget which is born from transparent communication on each of these items to create a general scope of work.
From our excellent reps at local lumber yards and kitchen design centers to specialty tile and hardware retailers, we have well-established resources for all aspects of building and remodeling which means we have access to just about any type of building, finish, and energy efficient product on the market. These resources are important because it allows us to have the right solution at our fingertips for whatever the project calls for. Once the options are on the table, we are able to move onto working with the client and design professional involved to create and approve a design and plans which incorporate all of the things discussed in the initial consultation.
At this point, we now have a budget, a design, pricing based on this design for each aspect of the project, and it is onto execution. We will establish a regular meeting time each week once the project begins to walk the project, view progress and address any questions, concerns, additions, or changes that have presented themselves or been requested.
In addition, scheduled emails throughout the week will update the client on the day to day progress and goings-on. This is important because we want this to be a project that the client feels like they are a part of. While boundaries need to be set for things like changes and access to areas for safety reasons, this can be achieved without making the client feel unwelcome and uninvited in the process.
